Over the years, the Company's unwavering spirit and keen sense of corporate social responsibility have prompted it to actively participate in socio-civic programs to help create better communities.
In the Philippines, GlaxoSmithKline works continuously to help alleviate the plight of underprivileged Filipinos throughout the archipelago.
These include donations and medical missions, financial assistance, as well as education programs. Consolidated under the aegis of the GlaxoSmithKline Foundation, these programs aim to respond to the unmet healthcare needs of Filipinos.
The Foundation works in partnership with the different government agencies, NGOs and other civic organizations to address four key areas of support, namely, health, education, environment and the arts.
There are three cornerstone programs of GSK Foundation, which are focused to address health issues of national importance, namely the Pinoy Health Pass, Lymphatic Filariasis and Tuberculosis.
